Khanda and Stars

There are ten stars and the ten stars have ten edges, this design symbolizes the Ten Gurus who have given us their teachings within Sikhi, to which we can all be united under the emblem of the Khanda.

The Khanda is a powerful symbol that gives recognition as a Sikh and the person or place displaying the symbol is respecting of those Guru's teachings. The bright fabric, which the art is laid upon, replicates the remala we use to lay Guru Granth Sahib Ji upon while the exotic colour is respecting of the royal nature that Sikh's respect of Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
